The black one is amazing. Usually a mixed Cayuga only gets a white bib. Even purebred Cayugas do get white, but its usually a white feather on the chest or back. I've seen older cayugas that are mottled white and black, but I have never seen a Cayuga with white in their wings like that.

I can tell by the speculum that she is mixed. Quite interesting, didn't know it would express like that.
Yes we do, But we were thinking off getting another cayuga to breed her with since the drake is a little mean to our chickens and we don't plan on keeping him forever.The black one is amazing. I'm not sure what you have, but it's pretty special.

I guess it depends on the duckMy first cayuga egg was black. Then the next 20 or so were meduim gray. Now they are all light gray.
She has only been laying for 2 and half months.
