CBD oil....

Hey guys, I have a almost 7 year old hen with some really arthritic toes. Poor baby. I was reading about CBD oil to help. Does anybody have any experience with CBD? If so what's a legit brand to purchase and how much to give? Thanks everyone.

Why not use arnica? It's far cheaper and easier to obtain.

I have never heard of or personally given CBD oil for my chickens but it is worth researching! They have CBD for animals now so, I wouldn't be surprised if someone has used it for their chickens; if not, you could be the first.

hmmm interesting. That could work. Is it safe for chickens? sometimes they are so sensitive to things we wouldn't think...like lidocaine.

Others on BYC seem to have used it, at least for ducks in the one thread I read. I'm not sure about the topical ointment mentioned. CBD can be used topically as well.

I am definitely looking into it. It would be cool if someone started a CBD product for chickens though.
