I have been hearing a lot about Cedarcide as an organic method of controling parasites on animals. Is it safe (and does it work )on chickens for mites and lice?

It might work, but it uses cedar oil. Cedar oil can be harmful to the respiratory system, especially in enclosed, unventilated spaces.

there are lots of people out there that say cedar is toxic to chickens...don't know from experience...but even hatcheries like Ideal caution against cedar.
