Celadon egg from non-celadon hen offspring

I just got a celadon (blue) egg from my offspring of a celadon male and a non-celadon female. Does this mean that the female has one celadon gene? I'm so excited. This is the best science project ever!
 
The mother hen is an Italian pattern that lays eggs that look like the paler speckled one below. One of her daughters lays eggs that looks like yellow marble, and the other lays celadon blue.

There's always the super rare chance it was a mutation, but that is a one and a million chance. Nearly 100% of the time it must come rom the parents to be expressed.
