Since I am a blogger, and use many of my photos on my site, I will not not use the feature either, as I enjoy owning my own photos. (But I aplaud the effort, it will be a useful tool for many people here.) I read the FAQ's to see if BYC has any claim to photos uploaded here not using the upload feature and didn't see anything. Is it safe to then assume my photos here are my own, or do they become BYC property if they're posted here? Thanks!

All the way around! 10,000 members is awesome! The pic thing is very cool too! Sometimes photobucket is on the fritz when I want to upload some chick pix and coop stuff so I'm gonna give it a try!

We aren't in the habit of using people's photos unless they give us permission. We understood many people want total exclusive rights to their images (some even go as far as totally watermarking them) and they will usually host the images themselves and won't even use a service like photobucket. This tool was not designed for those people but for people who are in a quick hurry to load general use images for use on BYC.
