Celebrating our very first egg!

We got our first egg today! Our chicks hatched May 15 and 16, so just over 20 weeks old.

My six year old is asking if we can get an incubator and hatch the egg! Umm, no!

We currently have seven roosters (not for much longer though) so it would work. But it's a small egg and probably better for them to know from the start that the eggs are for eating and we can't hatch every single one!
