Central Florida Chicken Swap & Sale Sept 18th, 2010 Ocala

Oh, and I obviously haven't been breeding much lately with the new baby, but my broodies are pretty stubborn, so I do have a couple young cockerels to bring with me that will be free to a good home. I have 1 that's lavender OEGB x Cochin (bantam) and 1 that's Cochin x EE and maybe a pure Cochin or two.

I'm looking for LF buff Cochins, LF barred Cochins, bantam GL Cochins, and BBS or Wheaten/blue wheaten Ameraucanas.

Please let me know ahead of time if you have any so I know to bring enough cages!

I am off tomorrow!!! I have never been to a chicken swap. What do I need to do? I do have some chickens I could bring. I have a huge black cochin and another huge splash cochin that just started crowing. The black looks like a roo, although it isn't crowing yet. I also have some youngish Brahma cockerels that I need to rehome.

All you need to do is have fun. I just posted directions coming in from multiple directions. Most of the people who are selling will be here about 8:30 to pick their spot for the day and set their birds up or what ever else they are bringing. Bring some change for breaking bills people might give you. Have your birds in cages and you might want to bring a chair. That is about it, it is pretty simple.
See you here.

Silkies are ready to go! Here's what I will be bringing...

2 pair of White show potential juveniles approx 4-4 1/2 months old. They are great looking birds. $40.00 per pair

Blue silkie pullet 9 months old-laying $25.00

Silkie juveniles $15.00 each unsexed

None of these birds have any flaws at this point. This is probably the last time I will be offering any juveniles for sale before show season.

Look forward to seeing everyone there!!
