Did you try putting her in at night? Sometimes when they all wake up together it helps! She is used to being with the other youngsters so maybe she is just adjusting!

Well, she was in with just the 2 silkie roos during the first day, and they all did well. So at night, I put the group away, so they all spent the night together. The next day was trouble. They all picked on her, and DH removed her. Now I think he's really attached to her since she practically jumped into his arms. When I get home from Yuma, I will think of something that will include putting her with some of my docile chickens. I'll update this next weekend.

not sure what to do when my Marans chicks are ready to go into coop. Guess we'll be building a second one, don't want to risk them being massacred like poor Marie was.

Does anybody have meets on Sunday's. I always work on Saturday's during days.

We normally have swaps on Saturday because so many people from down south come & then they have to work the next day if we have it on Sunday & it takes alot out of you talking chickens all day!

Naw but it takes alot out of you when you have to get everybody together then drive a couple hours there then spend a couple of hours then drive a couple hours back so they kinda do it on Saturdays because of that. Sorry. You may check w/volume904 to see if she will be doing one on a Sunday in the future. We just try to keep the people that are traveling a long way coming. I may have one in the future up in OP but it will be like March or April before I try to do one so that it is warmer & so I dont step on anyone elses toes that have been doing them. So if you keep checking back you may see one posted in the near future.
