I just hatched my first 2 Wheaten Marans chicks!!!

I also have Wheaten Ameraucanas due next week...last time I looked 11 were developing, so if I get enough of them I'll share.

Who did you get your Wheaten Marans eggs from???

No, that's it...I cracked the others open...1 w/ partial development and 3 with none. I'm really unimpressed since these eggs weren't even shipped. I'm going to e-mail her about it and she what she says.

... I have some eggs coming from ruth, maybe tomorrow and the two I got from you are doing great, def. a cockerel and pullet!

Glad you got a pair! I only got 2 pullets out of my first batch (now 3 months old) and I think I have 1 pullet and 1 blue cockerel out of the batch yours came from, so I need some more pullets!

I figured out of 20 eggs (24 if you count the ones coming w/ my Wheatens) I should end up with enough! And maybe I can sell the rest to help pay off the cost...lol. I'm not buying any more though...mine should be laying in a couple of months...I can't wait!!
