Thanks, guys! He was a "surprise" roo from my friend who hatched a batch of 6 eggs for her science class. I sold his two brothers - both just as handsome...but "Romeo" was just a very mild mannered roo. So I decided to keep him on a trial basis.....he's never been anything less than a perfect gentleman...so he gets to stay!

The eggs I'm getting from the ladies...are many shades of green. Three of them are laying an olive colored (I didn't set any of those...just a personal choice).

As far as price - I've never sold chicks....any suggestion as to what would be fair?

Anybody bringing any black mottled bantam cochins? I need a roo (the hawk got mine a few weeks ago, just as my hen was getting old enough to lay

). I'd gladly take a couple more hens as well!

Looks like we will try and make this one, I have some showgirl chicks and some Ameracana chicks that I will bring up. Love the look of your roo looks like he could be a brother to my guy..lol



Anybody going to have Brahma chicks? light or dark is fine.
