So you got a baby out of your test egg? That is great I candled the ones for my sister tonight. She got really excited when she seen one of the chicks jumping around in the egg.

Oh, almost forgot, I'm looking for a breeding pair or trio of call ducks/ducklings. I'm a little leary to try eggs as I don't seem to do as well with waterfowl eggs - my little goosie didn't make it out of the egg, he tried really hard and I had to cull him as he just wasnt going to make it.

Liked to have broke my heart, I'm still sad about that. I'm just now getting better with chickens and quail at hatching.

Bitty GIrl, the 2 rolls would be fantastic. Got a friend going to expand my pasture for me.

That is great!!!! Out of the 15 eggs from Bev only 5 were good yesterday when I candled them. I broke the other 10 open and most were clear or scrambled from the shipping. Which sucks because they didn't have to go that far in state to get to us.
So we have our fingers crossed we get some pullets and a roo or two out of the 5 come hatch time.
