I found out that my son's cubscout campout is in Wildwood so we are just south of Ocala. My hubby said I could sneak away to the swap. If you don't want all of Seminolewinds Favorelle chicks I would love some.

Also could you bring some of those silkie eggs I ordered in the other post?

I would bring something too, but all my chickens are still to young and the others are still in the bator. I should have some next swap. I do have 2 EE roo's that need homes next swap. They would be 4mths old in April. They were supposed to be pullets. They live together with all the pullets right now.

Ok everyone the ads were placed in craigslist and all the local online classified sites. So hopefully we will have a really big turn out and sell everything!

RUMMAGE SALE & CENTRAL FLORIDA BYC CHICKENSTOCK. Sautrday only March 14th rummage sale starts at 9 am Chickenstock starts at noon. 9285 West Anthony Road, Ocala 34479. Follow the signs around to the big grey barn!!!! Lots of sale items from Toys, books, knick nacks, clothes, bikes, furniture, Christmas stuff. Lot of the yard sale items will be $5 and under. Then at noon the BYC Chicken Stock will start with lots of chicks, adult chickens, ducks buy, sell or trade!

Tragedy struck at my house yesterday....

The neighbor's dog got into the yard and killed 14 of my chickens and 1 of the ducks.

DH was home, but never heard a thing. I'm beside myself w/ guilt, anger, and sadness...I don't really know which emotion to feel and I've been crying my eyes out since then. I lost my 2 favorites (a Cuckoo Marans cockerel & Frizzle pullet) that I raised that would still sit in my lap while I was outside. I also lost my EE girls who were my first chickens. The neighbor left a note on my gate saying he was sorry and he would pay for everything, but I don't want money...I want my chickens back! They were my pets. The dog didn't get my breeders b/c I don't let them out, but I was more attached to the others than them.

Anyways, sorry to burden everyone's day, but I knew you guys would understand my feelings. I just don't know what to do with myself.
