Central Florida Poultry Swap & Holiday Bazaar Dec 4th In Ocala

Well, I think we are just about ready for this. Just have to go post signs tonight and a couple of last minute details. Anybody who will be selling, you can show up early (around 8am) if you need to to be able to get set up. We should have a great turn out of both buyers and sellers, the weather is supposed to be great other than a bit chilly, but if we all survived through Lake City last year then this will be a piece of cake. There will be food available as well as coffee and hot cocoa. We brought in a portapotty for convenience. This looks like this will be a whole lot of fun.

And... my husband says he isn't sure he remembers how to get there.
I depend on him for these things.

We will be heading west on highway forty. Which road do I turn north on? Then we turn east on? and then south and it curves around... and I have it from there.

Good Morning All.
We are awake and trying to get the bodies moving. My mother decided to take a tumble at 1am and we had to have her taken to ER to be checked out. She just got back home and other than some nasty bumps, bruises and scrapes is fine. They always say before a big show to "Break a leg", well I think at her age she was taking them seriously. So on with the show....

Bless your heart, Pampered pullet.....I know just how this feels......except I'm not having a gazillion people coming over to my house this morning! My heart goes out to you for all the stress. I hope your mom will be all right, it's so traumatic when the elderly fall. It takes my mom several days to recover from one. At least you'll be surrounded by sweet, loving people today. I'm going to sit home and sulk because I can't come. (just kidding, sort of). My mom is home and her condition is stable for now. I'm watching her closely for the next few days, of course. She's very fragile right now.

Well, I have to go now, my 'pity party' is about to begin and I am the guest of honor.

Thanks Eric & Le for everything. I had a wonderful time today. It's always good to see all of our fellow peeps. The water is going so DH fixed the problem. I'm glad I brought some water home because if I hadn't we would probably have none. Murphy's Law. Thanks again and will see you soon.

My son is ready to become a blacksmith! (He thinks he's getting a 70pound anvil for Christmas. Ha! Only if they deliver.)
He said he'd be good with coal in his stocking this year too.
