Hey barb, That cochin that's here of yours may not be a pure buff but it's very buff looking and I think it's a roo. I will send you pics tomorrow. You may not need one after all

ETA You should know I trudged all the way to the feed room for you, not once but twice so I could get these pictures. See how much I love you??? The second time was my fault. I left the case in there and it has my dodad to put the camera thingy in the computer (those are technical terms btw)

Ok, I have just read 22 pages of this thread

and this is what I think I got...there will be a lot of really cool chickens and eggs at the swap in high springs on June 20th (which is wonderful for me, as I just got rid of a dog

that killed 40 of my 55 chickens I painstakingly hatched, purchased, swapped, or got for free...don't worry the dog went to a good home, I didn't kill him

. The swap is in highsprings starting at 10am and directions are coming soon? I would love to come and I will be bringing lots of money!! Hubby owes me big...it was his dog LOL. I am looking for eggs of all types, a millie roo, some polish hens and roos, and anything else that may strike my fancy.
Do we need to bring food or drinks or anything? If you need anything, I will be happy to bring.

Seems like you got it all right! Sorry to hear about the dog/chicken problem. At least he was able to find a good home without chickens....
You can bring whatever you want as far as food drinks. I will put in on my first post so we can keep a running tally on what we got.

Directions will be posted this weekend....

We'd be glad to have you! Sorry to hear about the dog...the neighbor's dog did that to me a while back...I would have killed him if I'd been there. Anyways, if you're interested in any specific eggs that I have (look at my signature line) let me know and I'll make sure I collect some to bring.

You have pics? I like bearded. Do you only have roos? I will get some new updated pics of mine.,the ones on "My Page" are old. They have tripled in size since those were taken.

Any takers on my Roos? My Barred Rock is beautiful and is actually my favorite bird. I am having a hard time deciding to get rid of him. So it would be "to good home only" and no eating! LOL! The RIR is just getting his green tail-plummage and is coming into his own now. Both are tame birds and will make good additions to any flock. And they get along great.
