CENTRAL FLORIDA SWAP MEET - JAN. 17th

Of course it is! The more the merrier. We had about 20 people last time I think, but a few more won't hurt!

Edited to add: If you need any BC Marans cockerels, I have 3 that are 4 months old now...they're going in the fryer soon if someone doesn't take them!

I have black spanish/naragansett crosses I think. They are black and getting some color on them. I think I have 2 males/2 females. I think they're related so I want to trade out or hatch something to be a breeder/mates for them. They are really neat. They're about 4 months old.

Dels, is that Delawares? I have a cockerel who is scheduled for the table unless I find a home for him. He's pure, I had his daddy at the time and he came out of a Delaware egg.

I'd be open to getting a nice rooster. One with an easy going personality. The back-up one that I have likes to fight with everybody, from the pheasant to the Delaware.

I have some nice BC Marans cockerels...PLEASE take one! They're very sweet boys, but are starting to notice the ladies and there aren't enough ladies for all of them!

I missed the last swap because I had to work but I certainly intend to be at this one.
I'll have a few white silkie roos and maybe a few EE and BR eggs. Would like to find some Mille Fleur d'Uccles for myself and a female cayuga duck for a friend who has a male and he is lonely.

Kelly maybe we can hook up next week for a BC Marans roo.

I just looked at a pic of one. Those are really pretty birds. Yes, I'll be bringing one home with me. Just the right age too.

I will be coming with cages to transport things home in.

I want some of your EE mixes too. And some barred rocks.

Is a maran a French chicken?

Yes, you NEED to take one of these! I almost got fed up and sent them to freezer camp tonight! 4 roos running around with only 7 hens is NOT my idea of chicken heaven! And they're starting to crow...I do not need 4 roosters crowing!

bloomnbeauty, what kind of turkeys do you have? See my previous post. If you have any that would work with the crosses that I have to make nice looking baby turkeys, please let me know.

Kelly, yes, you're right - too stressful for those sweet ladies.
