I think this is what Im bringing....subject to change of course...

3 splash rock pullets, 2 are 11 months old, one is 6 months old.

1 pair Welsummers, pullet is 8 months, roo is 4 months

trio of barred rocks, 3 months old

3 EE's, maybe 2 months old

2 baby splash rocks, too young to sex

Ill bring some hatching eggs, too. They will be blue/barred rocks, rock/welsummer eggs, and if the EE's get rolling again, Ill bring some of them.

Kelly, I hope to bring you some EE babies. I was only able to set 18 eggs. They flat out just QUIT laying....I was gettingg 2-3 a day, then they all just stopped. So I was lucky to get the ones I did.

I would be interested in the splash rock pullets, those sound really pretty. I may even be interested in the Welsummers.

I think I will be bring a young Black Orpington pair and a bunch of young coturnix quail that will be 5wks.old by swap time

You're saving a couple of those quail for me, right?

My fist duckling hatched last night....a Christmas duckie!! It's a Buff/Pekin cross. One of my Cayugas from ladybug is pipped too, and one of my Royal Palms has a pip!

Sorry your uncle couldn't keep them, Denee. I hope you find homes soon. They might do just fine at your dad's place...they can be pretty quick getting to cover away from the hawks.

BTW...the babies ARE blacks. I looked up tons of pics and they look exactly like them. I don't know why I freaked out. I still think 2 of them may be barred/mottled because there is a spot on the top of their heads!

See pics in my thread on "incubating and hatching eggs"...
