CENTRAL FLORIDA (Winter Haven) SWAP MEET - August 22nd

Thanks! We have a good brooder set-up. We ordered chicks this spring and made one which was roomy and draft-free. We kept it in the family room and toted it back and forth to the run every day when they got about 5 weeks old. My husband put handles on the sides for easy carrying. I have the baby waterers and feeders, and two different heat lights. Sure, bring me some surprises!! If you don't mind write on them with pencil what they are 'cause I sure won't remember. I read the computer fan directions, and the darn thing is we just donated TWO OLD COMPUTERS to Habitat for Humanity! I'm happy I did that, if they get a couple bucks it was a good donation. If I don't find a little giant fan kit by about Wednesday I'll explore that route. I look forward to meeting you Saturday!! Ella

We may move into Gainesville. Does anyone know if they have restrictions on number of hens?

There is one on the Radio Shack site for $12! The measurements are virtually identical and the connector looks the same, although a different color. Does the strength of the fan matter or are all these little "appliance" cooling fans the same?

I think they are all about the same it is mainly just to circulate air so you do not get hot spots....

Would anybody like to buy a Barred Rock Rooster. He is beautiful and very good to his girls. I will admit that he does not like my mother and attacks her sometimes when she goes in the pen. He does not attack me, my DH or my father. Only her and not always. But you know how it goes. If momma ain't happy.......

So he is for sale. He is almost 8 months, crows on command for my dad and is beautiful. I will try to post a picture of him if anyone is interested.

Technically you are suppose to have a permit to own, sell, etc any game birds in FL (wild species of quail, ducks, pheasants, turkeys, etc).
