I so wish I could come. I have 5 Silkie babies and 5 Salmon Farorelles that need a new home. Anybody interested? I work Fri-Sat-Sun, but I sure would be willing to deliver if not to to far.

They are from Marie Martin from here on BYC. I have 4 hens and 1 roo. I couldn't have asked for a better hatch/ratio but, I just have too many breeds going here,

They are right around 14 weeks I think, but I'll have to go pull up my records and check to give you an exact. I'll try getting some new pics today if you are interested

ok, they hatched 6-2-09, so they are 10-11 weeks old, all have 5 toes and feathered legs/feet

OK, should i be concerned? My husband just went skipping through the house singing.....

We're having a chicken swap, we're having a chicken swap!! LOL ahahahahahahahah. Dear lord the man has lost his marbles.

So on the other hand, my re-licensing lady for my foster care company said,"she was so impressed about how much i knew about chickens and how well they werre taken care of" SCORE!
She was gonna be a vet so that is a total compliment coming from her. She is so interested in my swap she might stop by...lol LOVE HER!!! Sweetest lady ever~

GEEESHHHH is it saturday yet?

Do you know if you need a license or permit to have them or sell in Florida? Would like to find out and possibly get into Quail

Technically you are suppose to have a permit to own, sell, etc any game birds in FL (wild species of quail, ducks, pheasants, turkeys, etc).

Not saying your wrong or anything but if thats true why would tractor supply sell them to just anyone around easter

I don't know, but I've called FWC 3 times and they've told me the same thing all 3 times. I don't know if they just don't know what they're talking about or people have their messages crossed or what. I was wondering the exact same thing and I sure wish I could get to the bottom of it.
