That is now my favorite! What did you use for the eyes?

Cap, I have to show you the cake my daughter made for her two year old grandbaby. (He currently loves Shrek)
She doesn't sculpt much anymore, she has rheumatoid arthritis.
Anyway the cake decor was made with sugar gum paste.

Glass eyes, will put them in with glue once it's glazed.

Very nice! My MIL used to decorate her various cakes, but her hands can't do it any more.

Here's the 2 story fairy house, but i made the top story too light. Then the top and bottom wouldn't come apart( easier to fire or move it), and i broke the bottom of the first level. Too many issues to fix, so i just recycled the clay.

Of course, i was not done smoothing it out but no point putting more effort into it.

I filled one of the kilns at ceramics class with almost all of the pieces that needed bisque firing. Can hardly wait for them to come out so i can glaze them and fire again!
