best overall repair advice. give the saw to a junkman and buy a Stihl. just kidden, if i lived close by i would look at your saw for free. i have lots of extra parts and a nice warm shop. when your saw want start replace the gas and get a new sparkplug [dont clean it] and a shot of starting fluid never fails. this new 10% ethenal gas is causing people problems in small engines. when an older saw acts up [ dont try this at home] i mix carb cleaner and rubbing alcohol in my oil gas mix and find a big tree and run the saw as hard as i can run it. if you have questions i will try to walk you through them. look back at puple chickens chainsaw post, Stihl no. 1.
