Hello, I haven't been on here in forever, but I boiled chicken and duck eggs this morning to make deviled eggs, and when I cut one of the duck eggs in half, I saw a blood spot and what looks like the chalaza? I have never seen the chalaza in a deviled egg before, and it kind of grossed me out. Has this ever happened to you before, does it look like the chalaza? When I first saw it, I pulled on it, and it snapped back. These eggs are a couple weeks old.
