Yep, it is awesome.Oh, duh! Awesome!
I wanted to tell bantam eggs are tiny. I raise bantams, some time they need assistance if the shell is to strong for them.I use crumbled boiled egg yolks to feed chicks when they need something other than chick feed. Jelly Bean might like itI'm curious, how is the size of the egg/chick affecting its health? How did the hatch go? Did it need assistance? (I can't seem to go back through enough pages on this thread to find the details!) And what happened with the double-yolked egg? Did it develop and hatch? These are two kinds of eggs I wouldn't have thought to hatch for fear the chicks wouldn't be healthy so I'm interested to know how it's turning out for you.
She's eating, I watch her as she does so. I don't have a syringe at my house I keep all my birds, & supplies at my grandpa's house. I just have chicks at my house right now for a short time.@MysteryChicken my tiny bantams eat it just fine, but when one is sick I put the food in a cup of water the suck it up in a syringe and drop it one their beak. You could do that to make sure she is eating.
That's a good sign. Are you sure they're fairy eggs, & not pullet eggs?I wanted to tell bantam eggs are tiny. I raise bantams, some time they need assistance if the shell is to strong for them.
@MysteryChicken I have 2 bantam fairy eggs under hens. One so far has vains and a little red dote.
