Around that age you should be hearing crowing by now.

That's what I thought too, but nothing from Gmork. I don't think I see evidence of hackle feathers coming either. But I'm Honestly not entirely sure what I'm looking for in a silkie. I can nail all my standard flocks hatches by a month old. Not a clue with these silkie! Lol

A big clue will be streamers on the back of the head. Long pointy feathers.

Oh, thanks for the tag! I keep losing this thread! Boy, I missed a lot. I just got caught up. Awesome about Jelly Bean. Today is day 16 right? It will probably hatch early since its a bantam in a super small egg, right? That's exciting. I'll be watching for updates!

Yep, it's day 16 for Jelly Bean today.
