Change of plans...

Oh my goodness. As you may know, I was planning to build a wooden 8’ x 8’ chicken coop this week. That plan went down the toilet Apparently, my family and I are not very skilled carpenters. The wooden monstrosity we (weakly) attempted to build was definitely not going to cut it. So... we bought one! Definitely the easier route. It’s an 8’ x 10’ resin shed that we’re altering to be a chicken coop. It’s not completed yet, but it will be by the weekend. I’ll show you all the stock photo, and this weekend I’ll post the finished product. So in conclusion, I’m awful at building things and Home Depot is a great store!

Thank you! It has two windows on the side, but I’m going to cut long strips along the two sides near the roof for more air flow

I have the Rubbermaid one, the walls are thicker. Love how it only took a few hours to do it myself. Made the front 1/4 my space and the rest is theirs

Looking forward to seeing the mods. I have my doubts as to our construction abilities too and I am considering a resin shed.
