Change of plans

If you or someone you know cans, I highly recommend canned potatoes! Yellow potatoes are best, these were on sale, 2/$7 at my local Brookshires. Just think about it, you want some fried potatoes with breakfast, or mashed potatoes with dinner, it takes forever to cook them. This way, they are fully cooked, just drain and brown or mash, whatever floats your boat. I've got large chunks for mashing or soups and smaller chunks for breakfast burritos. 😊

This is a great idea! I've never considered canning potatoes!

I just started canning for the first time last year. It was pretty intimidating at first but I've got the hang of it now after facetiming with my parents. My dad bought me a pressure canner for Christmas last year!
