What do y'all think? Will the 2 week olds be ok in these freak temps with their momma heating pad?

As long as the pad is somewhere that protects them from drafts, I think people have used them down into the 20s. But I would check on them regularly at first to make sure there's no sign of distress.

It's in the little grow out coop, in the 6x8 pen, the north side of the run is tarped, so no drafts. I'll keep an eye on them, thank you!

The littles didn't even blink at 29 degrees! And Dahlia's chicks went to their new home yesterday.

Omg, my neighbor, behind me, who let's her flock roam, had 2 foxes, caught on my cameras, kill 13 of her chickens and 5 of her ducks She has 5 chickens and 2 ducks left! This hurt my heart, and what's worse is it happens every fall through winter, just never this bad, smdh

I do believe 1 of my partridge cochins is a boy, he is the only one out of the 9 that isn't almost fully feathered (he barely has wing feathers, but is huge) and that comb compared to the other 1 is ridiculous! Back middle (1st pic) second pic is the other 1

Well this little Mr and his OE girlfriend are going to a new home the week of Thanksgiving. I sent a pic to Meyers yesterday and of course they said I had to wait until he was 14 weeks old for confirmation to get a refund, so the new mom will keep me posted.

Me and the hubby decided to get busy with our walkway on this long weekend, still got a bit to do, but not bad for 4 hours of work (I'm so sore, lol)

The pathway is done, just need to do the area next to the stairs, then paint the deck
