Just a few updates, Ameraucanas are 16 weeks now, along with the wheaten Marans. Judith (blue sex link/marans cross and Felicity's tity baby) is 12 weeks. Onyx's 2 BCM are 5 weeks (I think they're both pullets). Everyone is doing great!

Canned some pickles today, got 5 pints. To humid to be messing around outside, but I did sanitize all the waterers and filled them back up this morning.

Been crazy busy today... way to much squash and brookshires had 2lb of strawberries for $4 so I canned my squash and 4- 1/2 pints of strawberry jam. Cersei (wheaten Marans) laid her first egg last night off the roost.

Totally forgot to post about the gentleman who bought chicks from me a couple years ago...he contacted me about a month ago wanting 30ish chicks, I got in touch with a friend who has 2 roos and a few hens from my orps and asked for some eggs. She happily gave me a flat for free since she has so many and it's just her and her daughter. I told the gentleman what mixes he could get (she does have other breeds) and he said good deal. Well, today is day 19 and we have 2 pips In hoping they'll get busy and I can hand them over to their new family by Saturday

She laid it from the roost, so it was covered in pdz and fubar from droppings. I will when she lays again, promise!
