They may do that on purpose if there are extras of the expensive types. The logic would be that if you like this one, you may be willing to pay the high price to get more of them in the future.

Or it may just be the luck of the draw. If they put the extra pullets of all breeds into a single bin and grab at random to put the freebie chick in each order, some people do get the expensive ones.

Well they can roll on with their logic, lol, there is no way I'd pay that kind of money for a mix breed anymore. Or if it was luck of the draw, maybe I should go by some lotto tickets😉🤣
