I text the gentleman that most of these chicks are going to yesterday letting him know current count and when hatch day was, he invited me to come out to his ranch to drop the chicks off so I could see the birds all grown up from the August chicks he got from me, I accepted and am tickled pink! On another note, I remembered last night that I had bought this divider for the NR 360 and have never used it. I decided that I'm gonna move all the eggs to the NR 360 Monday after work for lockdown and separate them in the divider just in case they hatch while I'm at work since the legbars and Bielefelders will look almost identical at hatch. :woot:woot I'm getting egg-cited!

Ooohh, that should be fun. Not sure if I told this in my thread but I recently delivered 2 more dozen (1 mix, 1 Marans) to the gal that bought a dozen Marans last October. I was giddy to see hers growing out..

I contemplated buying a divider for mine last year, but made hatching bags instead. These were a little bit of a struggle when your quickly trying to pull dried chicks out and your all thumbs. I may look in to getting one again just for the simplicity of it.

I seen somewhere also where someone used them stick on hooks and stuck one upside down on each side of the lid to help lifting on and off. The lids are finicky.

It's awesome seeing them grand-babies all grown! All the birds he got last year are from the English Orpingtons I had, mixed with some of her other hens. She has 3 roos from me. I hope he let's me take pictures!

I'll let you know how it works out

I've seen this too, pretty crafty, don't know why I never did it cuz that lid absolutely sucks 😂
