Change of plans

A few of my Ermines from @2ndTink , I need to finish banding the pure vs. Ermine x EE....the hatching bag opened so they got mixed up.

I changed my mind; I'm only getting 6 of the Ermine eggs and I'm going to set 6 of my birds' eggs with them (probably the dark green eggs) It'll give me a jump on next spring cuz any I keep will be laying by then.

She gave me 8 eggs, woot woot! I already had the incubator on and ready to go so I put them right in there with the other 4. What am I thinking🤦‍♀️🤣

I love the look of the Blue Wheaten OE pullet!
I'm telling you, she is identical to her mom, Sansa is on the left in the first pic. He said he ended up with 3 pullets that look like that. Eggs should be coming soon, his oldest batch is 19 weeks

I went ahead and candled (day 5) 7/8 of the ermine eggs are developing! I can't for the life of me see into the dark green OE eggs, I've tried everything; candler, flashlight, incubator light, so I'm just gonna leave them🤷‍♀️ This is definitely a first
