If she does that reliably, she could be a very useful broody hen: when she starts laying, you start collecting the eggs you want her to hatch!

She has been going broody since a month after she started laying, but I had other broodys with chicks. I currently have eggs in the incubator, so if/when she goes broody I'll try and give her whatever isn't sold. She's a die hard, that's for sure, lol! I have so many hens that go broody it's nuts.

16 out of 18 hatched, the last 2 look like late quitters. He should be here soon to pick them up

And I totally forgot because she's been in quarantine, lol. This is Harriet, she's an OE BC and lays a big ass blue egg. She is getting on great with the flock!
