So right now I have my chicks in the garage in a large dog kennel with cardboard around it to keep out drafts. They are 4 weeks old and have been in there since they were about a week old. They are doing fine but seem to be running out of room. I want to move them into this playpen I have that’s plastic and cover the top with chicken wire but I’m wondering if it’s going to be too drafty? Without cardboard around the sides. It’s much bigger and I don’t have that much to cover the sides. There are 6 chicks right now the night are in the 30s/40s and I have a heat lamp of course which keeps it 80 during the day and 75 at night
