I am also changing my coop. This is my first night and I'm tried night transitioning. Which is exactly what it sounds like. Do they free range or is there a run?If you need or want to change your flock over to a new coop, what would be the best way to do so?
Well, yes and no. They have a run but are allowed to free range on a limited and supervised basis. They’ve been able to free range over about 1.25 acres daily for roughly three or so hours. However, they do end up spending the best part of the day in the run during the winter which is only about 55 to 60 sg.ft. with 6 chickens.Do they free range or is there a run?
