I am trying to hatch some duck eggs that I bought online. I tested our old (10-15 year old) styrofoam incubator before the eggs arrived and all seemed to be working fine, but now that I have eggs in it, I'm having trouble keeping the temp and humidity regulated since the controls are a single knob and I have to use an additional thermometer and hygrometer. Also, the turner in the old incubator isn't working consistently and is needing babying. So, I bought a new incubator and intended to move the eggs over, but am now afraid that the changing of the rotating pattern might harm the eggs--rocking back and forth vertically vs rotating horizontally. We're on day 10 with wiggly embryos. Is it OK to switch them over, or should I stick it out for another 18 days in the old one and just use the new one for new eggs? Will the change in turning patterns harm my 3 little guys? Thanks!
