Changing the local laws, in Pleasant Prairie, WI

I would have more things to add as a future chicken keeper, but local laws need to change based on where I live to have the right to own chickens. Looking for suggestions to overturn such discriminatory laws set by the village board. Any help would be great at least in my neighborhood.

I would research nearby similar communities that do permit chickens and mimic their requirements in a petition that you can get signatures on to present to your Board to start the ball rolling on making the change. Good luck!

This is so true. I want things to change so that when I retire, I can conduct my hobbies of bees and chickens and I do not have to move so far away from hospitals as I continue to age. I find these hobbies therapeutic as a combat vet.
