Rachel, I raise Chantecler bantams in white, partridge, and buff. I recently shipped two trios of started partridge bantams to Utah. If you would likeI live in the city, so bantams are definitely easier for me. Curious about them, now.
I have 2 with feathered feet - and their feet are pinkish yellow?
Also wondering if pic #3 is a pullet? From what I've read only the males have this coloring and green tail feathers...but her mannerism is all pullet and she sticks with the young cockerel all day long. They all seem to have soft blue down under their top feathers too??

I am looking forward to receiving Albertan eggs from Rhoderunner in June . . . , NOT for which one is 'best' but what each has to offer as a homestead dual purpose breed. I am already pretty sure that each of these will have much to offer and have their proponets, and that the Albertan will standout in a number of ways.
