Chantecler Thread!

I have a sweet Partridge Chantecer hen who after 4 yrs has finally got the chance to be a mamma. She is setting on 13 eggs and the Roo is a French Black Copper Maran. Will I be able to auto sex their chicks?
Help

I don't think so.
I think the mother has to be white & the father red, but I'm not up on the genetics.
Maybe @BantyChooks will be able to answer better.

No, not to my knowledge.

My sixteen week old cockerels, with bad photos. Moving targets!
IMG_1375.jpg IMG_1371.JPG This one I like, he's about six pounds.
IMG_1369.jpg IMG_1367.jpg These, smaller.
IMG_1365.jpg One of the pullets. All from Cackle.
IMG_1366.jpg Then, very cute bantam EES!
Opinions? Not SQ, but nice enough???
I'm BAD! The second cockerel is not the one I like, it's actually the fourth bird, with the white leg band. Sorry!

They're quite nice! It's a bit early to tell, Chanteclers take so long to fill out, but I like the long backs I am seeing and the big frames.

I like them too, and all have so far been polite. EXCEPT for the idiot who was too interested in my handling of a flockmate. He's one of the five pounders, and will taste great!
Couldn't resist more photos of the bantam EEs, there's the original rooster from Cackle, and a son and daughter this year. :love

It's such a small group! After all the losses to my dog this spring, and losses with chicks from Cackle, really too few, and I'm not getting more this year. Moving on with what's here already.
