Where are all my fellow Chantecler lovers? Info on this breed wanted! Why is it that these beautiful birds do not get more credit?

Probably because it's a very rare breed, on the verge of extinction, tossed aside like many others for the industrial egg layers and meat birds that grow quicker and give out more eggs.
