Chantecler

As of June 17 I will be working towards setting up a small flock of Chantecler chickens. Due to the rural location and long distances I think it's best to start with hatching eggs. I was wondering who is out there that has had success with Chantecler chickens? I wanted a cold-hardy breed, and one that I could also spend time with and take to the local and state fair. I understand there are three colors, white, partridge, and buff. I haven't decided on white or partridge, both would look good I think.
