That's funny, I usually take the rejects and gimps, and I saw her, and Sue told me she was taken!
I am not a big picture person, but when I do get some loaded, I will certainly let you know.
I also have 2 boys in the bunch. I didn't need any more roos, but her egg color reputation made me do it!

There was a bit of tension when we didn't know if she was a boy or girl (we have neighbors and close neighbors and roosters are not a good combination) but thankfully Charlie (who is named after the chocolate factory because of her eggs) turned out to be a girl.

Sue really was a good sport to let me have her, it's been a great story.

What a sweet story! I met a lady who had a house trained chicken. She watched the chicken and let it out in time. After a few times the chicken figured it out and would go to the patio door when she needed to take care of business. Then the chicken would march back to the door and demand entrance! The chicken stayed inside until well into spring, then she decided it was time to live outside for a while.

Hello,
Our house chick's name is "Z". She is a two y/o Barred rock. Look up "Spoiled" in the dictionary and you will see her picture. She rules two dogs,an Akita and a Rot cross. One Blue and Gold Macaw and an Umbrella cock-a-too. She also has her "PopPop" trained, my DH, a small peck on the leg and she gets potato chips or what ever snack he might have. Oh don't open the refrigerator, unless you have grapes or you will get a peck on the foot.
Yes our baby is spoiled, but I really wouldn't have her any other way. I never thought I'd fall in love with a chicken but this one has stolen my heart.
