We killed it when we found it in the coop yesterday. Out of 11 chicks I only have 1 pullet and a silkie chick that I'm not sure of yet.

Yeah. Apparently it jumped my snake repellant. Because Sunday night I checked the coops to make sure it wasn't in any of them and put out 90% sulphor snake repellent. I thought I put it wide enough but obviously not.

I have no experience with snake repellents, so I couldn't say they actually work, or not.

All 9 chicks that were delivered yesterday have all made it. Nobody dropped dead last night.

I went out this morning and Chipmunk the 1 1/2 year old OEGB rooster was gone. Feathers in one corner and no body.

One of the Sumatra chicks that was running around all healthy, & happy decided it was just gonna drop dead yesterday. It was fine yesterday, showed no signs of dying.

Possibly FTT(Failure To Thrive).

I was given a refund for the death, which was nice.
