I too am post Eater hatch a long. My 1st time to incubate. Had 12 to hatch, and are 5 weeks old, yoo hoo!What an experience. I gave up on having a hen go broody over the past 18 months. DH bought the 'bator for my birthday in March. The kicker is we had 2 hens go broody and they hatched 2 weeks ago.![]()

I had no idea how busy those little chickies can make you day to day. Our original flock is 2 roos and each with 5 hens a piece. We got them at pullet and 1 year old stage. We've got our hands full of chickies (and poo too). heehee, yuk
Just wanted to touch base and let you know I'm looking forward to checking in with this thread to see what's going on.
