Nope..... But now I am up...

Sitting, drink hot coffee, and deciding at 9am, I should be up.

But. Don't FEEL up.

I was up very late last night staring at the 'bator, and then I forced myself to check at 3am, and again at something early....

BUT, I am now happy with the incubator! (Cheers are heard around the world)

Not sure i am happy with the rotating while trying to hatch most of the eggs standing up thing.

And, even though today being day 2ish, I could probably take them all out and go back to old fashioned on the side.... IDK, IDK, Still thinking about it.



But LUKE! Arg! What frustration! One of us has GOT to figure out the teleportation beam thing.

We could have coop raising parties, fencing parties, search for the poor lost duck parties, bale all the water out of your house parties.....

And do bird tours together! Go visit an emu farm, a peacock farm, a fancy duck breeding place!

I spent my fantasy time last night thinking....if I were to get peacocks (in the fantasy where I have oodles of money) what bird would I put on my pond? I am not sure it is big enough for swans (which go with the peacock castle theme), but I am thinking it might be silly to have tiny ducks on a pond when you have peacocks. Maybe there are shiny ducks....I will go research! And of course. Would still have chickens....but if money and coop building were not obstacles, how many and what kinds would I have? Woooo hooooo!

There should be a consent form you need to fill out before joining BYC...... or an AA help group...

Talking about fantasy got me to keep thinking about the lady I got my hatching (maybe) eggs from.... All of her birds are BEAUTIFUL, so NOT hatchery!

And it got me to thinking.......

Even though i did just get Black copper Marans from her........

Maybe I should have Welsummers (they lay better, some are as dark as Marans, and the spots are more common, and I love the spots)

and some lavender Muscovies for meat

and some Blue Salmon Faverolles Bantam sized, since the kids always like to have a bantam breed.

But get them all from breeders, so they are super pretty!

Then again, I have always wondered about getting Rose Combed Dorkings.......and the Welsummers just are not as pretty as the Marans. hummmmmmm

OK, I can live without the Dorkings, since those are really for meat, and I would have the Muscovies for the meat.

But is it really possible to be happy with only ONE breed of LF?

I could live with one bantam, and one duck.........

$$$$$$$$ Money, money, money, money. . . . . MmmmOOOONNNNNEEEEYYYY! heehee doesn't cost a dime to dream though. Hey, can I have a place next to Silver's???? Hmmm. . .?

Hi everyone- I was out all day trying to get the duck pen finished....got fairly close

I have a pic but I cannot upload it to this netbook, my baby is on the other puter...
I will upload the pic when she gets off or tomorrow
