And Wendi .. love what you have done with the place over there .... and i wouldn't mind doing the summary weekly for us here .. i actually like the distraction of writing and i didnt realize i missed it until i started doing those summaries ....

Silver, you have it down pat, just a lot of work too.....but I would love it, your summaries are FUN!!!

And it let's folks know who has been on lately that many may not have had time to go back and review after a while, or after being a few days "out of pocket".

You know when we get our "chat" on, so many people posting, some of us slower, uh, me....

I have to go back and read again later, 'cause I find myself skimming the posts quickly and miss someone's post.....just trying to catch up.

Even though the refresh button does flip me to the last page I viewed. Also going to the subscription tab at the top of the page does seem to work faster when it gets busy, busy, busy! Thanks for the tip.

So, if you and Chickn can work it out, a summary page would be awesome!

Then, when you need a break, maybe someone else could take the summary on for a few days. But know one could do it better than you! IMHO

I did the easter hatch a long and someone did a summary each day....it was a busy thread.... And it was wonderful!

I guess a brief overview is in order... I have 6 Sulmtaler chicks that are one month old, from wonderful mailorder eggs and an amazing hatch of 5 female and 1 male. I have a trio of cream legbars that are two months old and I have a pair that is 2 weeks old. I have a trio of white silkies that are 3 weeks old. I have my last batch of mail order eggs in the hovabator now. Due to hatch June 7th. 3 Cream legbar eggs, 5 Sulmtaler eggs and 20 silkie eggs. The rest of my life is very boring. My husband tells me...Your chickens come first, me second. Oh well, LOL. He is just glad that I have a hobby that makes me so happy.

You'll just fit in real nice here Bama1. Been meaning to mention this thread to you, but, kept too busy to think of my own name somedays.

OOOooooooo Cream Legbars!!! If I ever get another pen, oh no, I didn't just say that.......well, anywho, I would love to raise Cream Legbars and of course, I'm still nuts about my EE's and 2 AM's. Lady I just love all those colors in a carton of eggs!
