How did I miss the new, totally awesome chicken run pictures! Those are wonderful!

What are you using on the floor? Is that wood shavings? Or sand?

Those porcelain d'uccles are beautiful!

I have shown up at church with a large plastic tote totally full of eggs.

Luke, somehow, that 1st egg from a young hen is always a little magical...to me.

Tony, more baby chickies...what's the head count?? You have really been committed to hatching those chickies.

Chicks are good. Still in the house in the brooder tote. They are growing so fast I will move them out to the brooder shelves in the coop on Saturday I think.

Well the other day I watched my Ancona lay her first ever egg!! ( white one on the left )
I have watched many birds lay many eggs, sometime even from the business end

but this one was defiantly the funniest/ quirkiest.lol.

You're quacking me up!!!! Glad she finally laid an egg for ya!!
....but it's not about ducks?!?! LOL
