Chat N Chicknfun Thread

Thank you, thank you.

But panic is starting to take over (insane ranting and raving, tearing of hair, etc.)

I haven't started on the winter wood supply, as well as twelve thousand other things.

And, every day is now shorter than the last.

Pant pant, if I could only learn to be more peppy, and run about and work all day long, and not need sleep, he hehe.
Me too! :weee :cd :yiipchick

HAHAHA. When I lived in Northern Wisconsin we heated with wood. Probably not as much as you need. We used to get a logging truck would come in and drop off 8 pulp cords of wood. Then I would cut them all up in the summer. Then in the winter I would go out and split them all with a maul. Here in SC don't really need wood that much But I do have a pile from the trees I cut down. The fire place in the house can heat the whole house in the winter. But now I have a gas wood splitter!!! The life. HAHAHAHA

Where is the creator of these here thread. Since she built the duck pen she's been gone!!

Hummmmm, I have been wondering the same thing. I hope she is OK.

And I hate splitting wood in the freezing cold burrrrrrr. We try to get at least most of it done before it gets too cold. We have a hydraulic log splitter, but I think it was homemade back in 1970. So, it is slow, and just has one wedge (not one of those fancy ones that splits the wood four or more ways). Last year it was dripping while we used it, but at the end it suddenly started pouring hydraulic fluid. Haven't fixed it yet.
