Only the call. She had been internally pipped for about 30-40 hrs and couldn't reach to externally pip. Is a sq-bq call which ar bred for their round bodies and head plus tiny heads and bills and that's why they are hard to hatch. But when I pipped her she had just tiny vessels left and now only one left.

i would let her stay in a little longer then .. get that yolk absorb... i helped one of mine a little too fast last time and lost him ... was pekin

hatching is nerve wrecking .. i want chicks but im dreading the hatch ....

to me ducks take a little longer to hatch than chicks ... and i didnt know as much now as i do then ...

I know, but i just have to stick to wish I was closer, bcuz i haven't a clue. But I did end up having a chick out of it, I mean, it is alive and trampling the others regularly
