Hiya guys. Sorry been busy. So haven't been around. I sold all my chicks. Apart from 4 I'm keeping. Two are Roos and Two are Hens. I hope anyways. Lol.

This is CutiePie. My daughters Chick! No one can get near her. This is a Self-Blue Cochin Bantam. And rightly so. She's tiny. Thinking she is a Hen. Because of a few characteristics in her.

Left is Rosland The Rhodebar and Right is Chocolate The Chocolate Orpington. He is a Roo.
And I have another Rhodebar Named Rodney. Who is a Roo.

So how is everyone doing?
I have lockdown on wed with my second hatch. Seemed to have lost a handful of eggs in that stupid hovabator. That I am selling. I had to transfer the bloody things to a new one after I kept seeing blood rings. There seemed to be cold spots. So I am down to around 40 I think from 50. Ha.
Most of these should be sold also. So I'm praying for a good hatch. As it will put me well behind.
I have an order for a Dozen Turkey eggs and around a Dozen guinea Fowl. Any one have experience with these. I would love some advice. I was thinking of putting them in together and hand turning them. As I don't think the turkeys would fit the turner. But does anyone know if I would change the way I do humidity. Or is it special. Lol. Can't believe I said I would do it and never hatched before. I figured he wasn't in a rush so if I messed up. It would be a learning curve!

aww such adorable babies !!!! hope ya have a great second hatch !!!! ive only done chicken and duck but i think the humidity levels are about the same for all of them ... someone .. dont remember exactly who over on the diary thread has turkey guineas duck and chicken eggs in the same bator doing a swaggered hatch i do believe ..or maybe not staggered exactly b/c i do believe they waited a week to put the chicken eggs in so theyd all hatch around the same time .... but good luck with them !!!

Yay!Mr Fox didn't come back!!!this time...and my EE Hawk finally laid an egg to put under my broody!!!if it isn't fertile I'm gonna cry...until she lays another ;) me&my sister made brownies!!yum :p . Poor Toby was worried about his chickens,so be slept in the kitchen where he can see them.he normally sleeps on the couch
