night wendi !! ....hmmm with a fanit really shouldnt be flunctuating so much ... did ya calibrate your thermometer?
REALLY- WOW_ look at those eggs!!!!!!!
gorgeous!!!
Thanks!!!!I forgt to say, I thought that th duck run was wonderful...and the thatching looked great too!
but in all actuallity 94-100 isnt bad .. its just the spike that sux ... what day are you on ?
Hey, no expert, but on my 'bator, the area where the fan/themometer is attached to the top of the lid is always warmer by 1 or 2 degrees (than the other side of the lid) and the chicks hatch there first....Nope,
But even if it isn't calibrated.......I can tell it is reading right (or at least close) just when I feel the eggs. So, maybe the spike wasn't 107, but the eggs were way hotter than they should have been.
And maybe the eggs on the one edge aren't actually 94 verses 99 on the other edge...but they sure do feel different, and the eggs where the thermometer reads 94 sure did feel too cold.
Quote: shouldn't have ... remember i had a 115 spike for over 45 minutes ....and still hatched babies .... you could candle a little early and check which would reassure you ....
Quote: NOT for me then, I wouldn't try, but I would kill it, I am sure![]()
I redally am out now!!!!
