Hey, I think I have a sick chicken and I need to know what to do
He's just standing there and doesn't look right.

I cant get any kind of medication till tomorrow afternoon sometime

I am guessing you would know if he had been in a fight with a go or other animal.....

Oh no ! Was it at or over 90F today? Is he hold his wings away from his body also like he is trying to cool off ?

Ive never had that happen, this is my first summer with chickens. Sent you a pm with a link about hot weather, maybe that is it?

chicknfun my chicks have been panting all week from the heat even in the shade. I am thinking about turning on a sprinkler for a bit to cool them off. Just worried about all the mud?

Good idea. Chickn, if you don't see evidence of worm or parasites, a little dip in tepid water, waste deep/feet in water, he will probably protest, but it may help. Frozen water in milk cartons in their water or dust bath area will help them cool down a bit...let us know.....
